Mickey Mouse and Obama Next door neighbors?

I recently was listening to a podcast today and was informed of something that makes me extremely happy, Today, I was briefed about a possible new Disney Resort right in the Heart of Washington,DC. It is Said that The Walt Disney company has purchased 15 acres of land in Washington, DC for a price of 11 million dollars. It is being titled by many the Disney National Harbor. National Harbor says that Disney would boast tourism for themselves, not to mention have a popular Disney Resort. Now, this is all strictly based on word of mouth, so it is not certain that anything will come of this. An earlier attempt at a Disney theme park in the northeast located near the richmond area was proposed as well. It was dubbed "Disney's America". Unfortunately, nothing ever came of the idea and it was benched. But now that Disney has officially announced the project as a definite possibility, We can keep our fingers crossed that hopefully George Washington and Donald Duck will soon be neighbors.

I would imagine that if there is anything too this, it would be some sort of DVC resort. However, with land values so high and such limited space (not to mention the neigh-saying political political power) in the district, I just don't know how Disney could pull it off. But if they managed to do so, I'd be the first to sign up! D.C. is like my third home, behind Disney of course.
