The best kept Disney secret is spreading fast!

Now, In my opinion, there are two entirely different ways to see Walt Disney World. The way most people see it, a trip or vacation to the resort every year or so. Or, for us more obsessive people there is in my opinion, the way of traveling with the Disney Vacation club. Now, you may be wondering, what is Disney Vacation Club. Well, DVC is a flexible timeshare type program, that use points to book reservations. The great thing about DVC, is the number of destinations you have to chose from when booking. There are five main categories: DVC resorts, The Disney Collection, The Concierge Collection, The world passport collection, and The Adventurers Collection. So heres, how it works... You buy a DVC share either through disney, or through resale. You can check the current price of a share by calling DVC, or visiting the DVC preview center at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa at THe Walt Disney World Resort. Once you have bought a share, you begin paying "dues" for your membership. If you are saying, " is DVC worth it? well, that depends on many different factors. If you visit WDW on a budget, but would like to stay in the deluxe resorts, then DVC may be something you want to look into. If you visit numerous times a year, DVC may not be ideal for your situation, due to the fact that you are allotted a specific number of points each year. So, if you want to save money, and travel the world, DVC is an alternative you should definitely consider.
